RE: APPLICATION FOR THE HENKEL GRADUATE PROGRAMME
I am writing to apply for the Henkel graduate programme. I saw an advertisement about this post on the internet. I have successfully completed my BSc in engineering degree at the University Of Cape Town, majoring in chemical engineering. I have developed a strong interest in manufacturing, consulting, research and development and I hope to put them into practice at Henkel.
The last academic research and design projects I worked on involved constant communication with supervisors, setting up and attending meetings, setting goals and planning. I was able to acquire good project management, communication, planning and goal setting skills. These skills are essential in meeting project deadlines. My additional skills include being able to use Aspen, matlab, Ms Office and analyse data
I am currently working as a fuel oil plant system, boiler and turbine valves engineer on a contract basis at Eskom Matimba Power Station.
I have enclosed my resume, academic transcript and a copy of my degree to support my application. As an emerging engineering graduate I have the potential to become one of Henkels’s good assets. I will welcome an opportunity to discuss my application in more detail in an interview. Thank you for considering my application.
