I am writing in response to explore the opportunity to work within an institution with many opportunities to offer in terms of skills development. I completed all the requirements for a BSc Honours in the year 2016. I am currently completing a Master of Science Nanoscience degree which is a unique 2 years collaborative programme between four universities aimed at giving intense theory and practical training in nanoscience and its application which is nanotechnology.
As you will see from my CV, I have gained some experience through a variety of full-time and part-time jobs but would welcome the opportunity to explore the many interesting options to develop within your reputable and environmentally-friendly organization. Through my research in electrochemistry and microbiology for my honours project, I have developed and improved valuable laboratory skills. The goals for my research project included the development of quantum dots modified biosensor for determination of breast cancer drug, tamoxifen. I thoroughly enjoyed working alone and as part of a team in my institution’s department of chemistry; writing up the final report and presenting to my supervisor and colleagues.
I am a very good communicator and am computer literate, a team player and a hard worker I love challenges because they make me learn new ways to improve my skills and experience hence I derive satisfaction from a job well done.
Thank you for taking the time to review my application. I look forward to hearing from you and I am available for an interview at any time.
