I am a Postgraduate Diploma in Management (Business Administration) students at Wits Business School with an undergraduate degree in Social Sciences (International Relations, Gender Studies & Sociology) from the University of Cape Town. After completing my undergraduate degree, I did a short course on health and safety then proceeded to work at an engineering and ICT services company for 8 months as a Health and Safety Representative. I then took the decision to go back to school and do my PDM which I thought would be the perfect bridge from the social sciences field to the corporate space and I have been proven right because of the knowledge, opportunities and skills it has provided me with.
As much as I do not have much work experience, I am curious minded, independent, an analytical thinker and I believe that my efficiency, teamwork and the ability to adhere to systems and procedures within all organizations could add value to the company. I am passionate, driven, hardworking, eager to learn and looking forward to a challenging experience and an opportunity of a lifetime that will grow me, take me out of my comfort zone and develop myself so that not only will I advance and achieve my personal goals, but be an asset to the company and contribute to the developing solutions for the company’s clients.
